I write ads (and other stuff) for a living. Most of them are for business services and industrial products that aren't that much fun to write about. You won't read them here and for that you should be grateful.
So when I found out that people will pay me to write ads (or run ads) on my blog, that sounded like fun. You will find paid advertising sprinkled among my posts. It used to be that I said in the ads that they were ads, but now that messes up my Google ranking, which means that the good-paying ads aren't accessible to me.
I do try to warn you by putting them in the category, "Advertising."
I don't knowingly write or run ads for bad people or bad stuff, but I don't know these folks so you're on your own if you want to buy from them. Caveat emptor and all that.
